Dear members - and anyone else who is interested in Co Housing I hope you have all had a good summer and are ready for our next Open Meeting on 25 September.
The group has continued to make progress and there are many things to report, explain and discuss.
Vivarium has reached a significant stage in its development. An attractive site in north east Fife has been identified and negotiations are in progress with the landowner, a major housing association is very keen to work with us to undertake the development, and we have had preliminary discussions with a bank who are interested in supporting us. We are working to finalise details of costs and tenure (possibly a mix of ownership and rental) so that anyone who shares our vision will be able to be part of the Co Housing development. All of these topics will be discussed fully at the meeting on Sunday and the next steps agreed.
The meeting takes place on Sunday 25 September in the Ladybank Tavern, Victoria Road, Ladybank, KY15 7LJ, commencing at 2.00 p.m.
The meeting is open to members and non-members alike so if you would like to find out more about CoHousing in general or about our plans specifically, please come along - you will be very welcome. We are keen that everyone is kept up-to-date with progress and that all can contribute to important decisions about our future. Please also pass the word around to anyone you feel may be interested in joining us.
